In the Vineyard...
Last week we thinned the shoots after the vigorous growth that had taken place. The shoots are now fully developed and canopy management will continue throughout the growth cycle. The vine’s energy is now going into the development of the berry. The berries will proceed through three stages: the Rapid Growth Stage, the Lag Stage, and the Véraison Stage.

At Mitchella, we value everyone’s experience and in order to ensure an exceptional wine tasting experience, reservations are required for groups of more than 6 people and any group arriving by limo or hired vehicle. We regret that we are unable to accommodate groups over 16 people, Friday through Sunday. Group reservations are available between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM.
